Her trachea was severed, as you can see above, from her struggle. She survived a little while after being rescued, but sadly did not make it. She was, however, alive when the above picture was taken. Nearly decapitated, but still alive. Can you imagine the pain she felt? Yet even after that, she was still trusting of people. Still friendly, still loving, to her dying day. Such a sweet dog, who, thanks to the cruel actions of a twisted man, met an untimely and inhumane death. What did Hope do to deserve this? There’s a petition here to give Davis the maximum sentence, along with many others around the web. Please at least look at the page, and reblog to get the word around. Abuse like this deserves the full punishment. I just cried :’(
